Oats are a nutritional power-house that act as the base to our delicious overnight oats.   These recipes are a fast, refreshing and delicious breakfast for both you and your family. It is high in fibre, nutrients and it can provide you with a filling balanced breakfast.  Overnight oats can be made with a large variety of ingredients that can satisfy almost any ones taste buds.

Overnight Oats – 3 Ways

Makes 1 serving

Option # 1

¼  cup Oats

1 tbsp Chia

1 scoop protein powder

 ¼ Banana

¼ cup Almond milk

1tbsp chopped almonds

Option # 2

½ cup Oats

1 scoop protein powder

1 tbsp Pecans & almonds each

¼ cup water / milk

 ½ Apple (chopped)

¼ tsp cinnamon

Option # 3

¾ cup Plain Greek yogurt

1 cup frozen fruit

1 tbsp whole oats

1 tbsp chia

1 tbsp nuts

 

Per serving: 318 calories, 34g carbs, 32g protein, 10g fat Per serving: 304 calories, 33g carbs, 23g protein, 10g fat Per serving: 293 calories, 30g carbs, 23g protein, 9g fat

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a jar or bowl.  Cover and let sit overnight.  In the morning uncover and enjoy!
