As a mom of 3, I know how tough making dinner can be. I first and foremost suggest a meal strategy: that means that you will have an idea of what you and your family will be eating for the week at the beginning of the week. I first map out the events of the week: kids sport nights, work nights and functions…from there I begin to inject meals that will work on the given night. For instance, if I am working late, I will plan a slow cooker meal, if we have a busy night of sports I will plan for meals that have the grab and go potential.
