NEW PHYSIO SUPPORT Tara Clark HBA(Kin), MScPT – Physiotherapist

Some of you have already met Tara.  She is heading the physio team at Dynamic Health and Performance.  Your functional fitness support has just gone up a notch!  Be ready for some homework! Tara loves teaching beyond your session and will provide you with a full treatment plan.  Here is a little about Tara…

Tara is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she completed a four-year Honors degree majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences. She then completed a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. Since graduating Tara has continued to develop her skills, completing courses in soft tissue techniques, McKenzie method, SFMA, concussion management, and obtained her acupuncture certification through the McMaster Medical Acupuncture Program.  Tara was a competitive dancer growing up, competing and choreographing at both the regional and national level. More recently she has gained an interest in running and triathlon, completing numerous races including the New York City Marathon.  Tara believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness and activity and wants to help guide her patients towards achieving their functional goals.

BOOTCAMP FOR MORE INTENSITY by Shelly Harrison

Shelly has owned her own fitness studio in the Oakville area for over 10 years!  With experience and passion, her clients crave her intensity.   Shelly has a strong following of clients and will be offering personal training for advanced levels.

Shelly teaches personal training for advanced levels and will be part of the MCC bootcamp team on Saturdays at 730am!

MID WEEK RESET with Valerie LaVigne

Valerie started her Yoga and Pilates practice at a young age, and believes her wellness journey is life-long. She received her Yoga Teacher Training certification in 2013, and her Pilates and Reformer Training the following year. Through teaching, Valerie hopes to bring her students as much physical, spiritual, and emotional balance, as these practices bring her. In 2016 she became a certified Reiki Master and a certified Life Coach in 2017. Valerie is passionate about using her healing modalities into creating a whole-life balance. She incorporates physical alignment, mind-body awareness, and a playful charm to each of her classes. Valerie loves helping people move more functionally and freely so that they may enjoy each day of life!

Valerie teaches Wednesdays 630 pilates and 730 yoga…she will also be part of our summer fit girls programs, offering yoga and tween girl empowerment talks!
