28-day challenge official start date is May 22, you have from May 12 until May 22 to perform your pre-challenge assessment and pick up your diet kit.  This challenge will run about 28 days finishing on the first day of summer!

The fat attack diet plan

A longtime favorite at MCC, this diet plan is a monitored rapid weight loss program consisting of three phases.  The first phase is an intense 3-5 days – where you will drop a pound a day.  You will then transition into a moderate phase – with an expected weight loss drop of 1/2 pound per day, and then you will transition out of the diet plan into a more moderate eating pattern.  If you have more weight to lose, we can continue to cycle the phases.  It’s important to cycle in order to ensure the rapid weight loss plan is safe and easy for you to follow!  You will be able to exercise during this diet, with the exception of the first phase – at this time stretch and recovery classes at MCC are recommended.

This is a CHALLENGE!  You have the option of doing the diet on your own, or you can participate in the weekly workshops to learn about this program.  There will be a $10 buy-in for the winner’s pot, but the challenge itself is FREE to members that participate in both the fitness and nutrition program (you can upgrade your membership for a month to include both these services).
