Before I started at MCC I was the heaviest I’ve ever been. I suffered from chronic back pain and low energy. I had low self-esteem and confidence. Getting dressed in the morning was very depressing. I knew I had to make a lifestyle change. I shopped in the plaza where the clinic was located on a regular basis and I would often see people going in and out of MCC in work out clothing and I would often wonder what types of programs were offered. This literally went on for years. I would say to myself (in my head) “just go in and get information” but i never did. One Friday night I was so frustrated with how physically uncomfortable I was that I got in my car and drove straight to MCC and never looked back!
Today I am over 30 pounds thinner, and have gained a ton of knowledge, confidence, energy and living with less pain! I love the small intimate environment. I love that I am surrounded by women and men who want the same thing……to live a healthy lifestyle and stay fit. I would feel intimidated and very self-conscious at other gyms because I wasn’t as fit as other people. I am extremely comfortable at the gym.
The trainers at mcc are above and beyond. They are constantly communicating with you during the workout which makes each and every workout so effective. The workout is always different, creative and organized. I am never bored at the gym because it’s a new workout every time. They have encouraged me to do better and always complimenting on how well I ’m doing. They have the ability to modify exercises on an individual basis to suit your needs. They have helped me reach my goals and feel more confident. I have learned a lot from them.
The dietitians at mcc are amazing. Every Saturday I get to tell them how my week went. It is like therapy. It doesn’t matter if it was a good or bad week they are always encouraging and keep me on the right path by offering suggestions for the next week. I love that they eat what I eat so I don’t feel like I’m on a diet. They truly want to see you succeed.
If you want to lose weight……get in shape……increase your energy…….increase your confidence and/or self- esteem, do it for yourself. You won’t regret it.
