I decided to join the LADS challenge to keep me motivated and on track for the time leading up to the holiday season. I had gotten away from my regular exercise regimen over the fall with a busy work schedule. By joining the challenge it got me back on track with my exercise routine of 3 to 4 times a week. It also gave me a chance to change up my diet.
I tried the keto diet for the first couple of weeks and then the low carb diet for the remainder of the challenge. I ended up losing 6 percent body fat which I was very pleased with. But what I gained was a great group of friends to exercise with. My great trainers, Lisa and Nancy, and my new group of friends inspired me to push myself and work hard towards my goal.
