The challenge worked for me because I stayed focused and never cheated. I did use protein shakes for one/max 2 of my meals on days that I did not plan well enough or that I was very busy with work, hockey practices and away tournaments. It also helped through an away tournament and a funeral. The favourite part of the challenge was the change in my body and increased energy that not only I noticed but my family noticed as well. The challenge itself was also very regimented and it gave me focus and it was easy to follow with the meal ideas. Once again the changes in my body and the fact that I am a very competitive person and I wanted to win first prize. The results alone are worth participating in the challenge. It also gives you a focus to start getting on the right track. It is a start to forming new habits which can result in a happy more energetic you!*
