Apple season is here and there are always tons of apples lying around. Well, we have a great recipe that uses delicious Granny Smith apples. This recipe is quick, easy and delicious, while providing a balanced meal for both regular MCC and MCC Paleo.
This is a gluten and dairy free recipe that will be a great snack to add to your list of favorites. All of the ingredients are packed with nutrients, especially the apples. Apples are filled with fibre, vitamins and minerals and they help to boost immunity because they are full of valuable phyto-nutrients.
- 1 granny smith Apple
- 1.5 tbsp almond butter
- 1 scoop protein powder
What to do:
Core and slice apple in to 8 pieces. In a bowl combine almond butter and protein powder. Place apple slices on top of almond butter mixture and enjoy.
