If I did not know, I would think it’s vanilla cake (and so will the young ones!). Looking for a great low calorie and grain free snack. With our upcoming WHOLE302010 challenge, we are promoting snacks to show that clean eating can be simple.
Here is what you will need:
2 tbsp of coconut flour, 2 tbsp protein powder, 1/2 packet stevia, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 cup almond milk and 2 tbsp frozen blueberries.
Here is what to do:
Mix all the ingredients except the fruit and stevia. Once mixed, place the fruit on top and sprinkle the stevia. Microwave for one minute and serve.
Vanilla bowl is 150 kcal, 17 g carbohydrates, 10 g protein, 3 g fat
Well, it didn’t fool my kids! You can taste the vanilla but the texture is too gritty. I tried again and this time I added more almond milk and we still didn’t like it much. You will definitely need to drink something once you finish your bowl.
