Say good Morning and good afternoon to these satisfying home made meal bars. The Sunflower bars can be made with several different alternatives to fit any taste and are great if kept frozen for up to 1 month.
The Sunflower bars are quick to make and here is how I make them
What you need:
- 4 scoops of protein powder
- 1 cup SuperButter (You can use peanut butter or almond butter)
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1 cup raisins (I like to substitute the raisins with dark chocolate chips)
What to do:
Preheat oven at 350°F. Melt the SuperButter in the microwave so that it is easy to mix with the honey and the protein powder. In another bowl mix all the remaining ingredients, then mix with the peanut butter mixture. Line muffin tins and divide batter into 24 equal portions.
Bake for 15-20 minutes (until tops start to get golden brown)
ENJOY!
